Jinarc 45mg+15mg Tablet contains tolvaptan, a vasopressin V2-receptor antagonist prescribed to slow the progression of certain kidney diseases under specialist supervision. Because of the way it works, increased thirst and more frequent urination are common and expected effects. This medicine also carries a risk of liver injury, making regular liver function blood tests an essential part of treatment. Staying well hydrated throughout the day is important to reduce the risk of dehydration. Jinarc should only be used under the guidance of a nephrologist, who will determine the appropriate dose and monitoring schedule based on your condition.

The usual starting regimen is 45mg in the morning and 15mg approximately 8 hours later (total daily dose of 60mg). Your nephrologist may gradually increase the dose based on your response and laboratory monitoring. Never change your dose without medical advice.
